Shepherdess Hut
Our Sheep-themed shepherdess hut is based in Tranmire in Whitby on our animal sanctuary, where we are home to 150 sheep, cows, pigs, goats, donkeys, alpacas and more.
In the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, we are slightly off the beaten track but within driving distance of places like Sandend, Grosmont, and Robin Hood Bay.
We have 2 Shepherd huts in our on-site cosy secret garden and a glamping Pod close by.
We are a plant-based “glamping” experience, with a “no meat” policy
The shepherd hut has two double beds (bunk bed style) and has a sheep theme running through it.
There is a small log burning fire and we do sell logs. The top of the fire can be used to boil a kettle and you are welcome to bring your own camping BBQs or disposable BBQs, but please respect the fact that we are a plant-based animal sanctuary with a “No meat” policy.
There will be an outside fire pit, but again please bring charcoals and logs if wanting to use them.
There is an outside “glamping” shower (please bring your own towels) and an eco-friendly composting toilet.
There is also a catering van that is shared with the other hut, which has a fridge, toaster, kettleĀ
